What you will be doing…

The Product Marketing team is focused on driving awareness, understanding and adoption of the Unata platform. To achieve this, we are building content, tools and processes that will educate our clients about our platform, drive feature adoption, improve the onboarding process and enable our sales team to close more accounts.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of client onboarding, education, and enablement, creating a positive, engaging learning experience for retailers that drives adoption of our platform features, increases retailer satisfaction, and engrains our platform in their business.

You’ll work closely with our Customer Success team, Sales team, Product team and Education Specialist to understand our product and our audience, and then use that knowledge to determine the right materials and tactics to achieve our goals.

 

We value Product Marketing Managers who have the following…

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a product marketing, technical writing or B2B marketing role, working with senior key stakeholders and managing vendors and external relationships
  • Very strong writing, communication and messaging skills
  • Proven history of developing marketing strategies and executing effective marketing campaigns
  • Experience with writing and executing email campaigns
  • Proven ability to take technical information and present it in a clear, concise and engaging manner
  • Strong project management & organization skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and change focus as needed
  • University or college degree
  • Grocery and/or retailer industry experience
  • Experience working at a tech startup, in eCommerce or in the technology sector
  • Have a take charge attitude with the ability to work autonomously
  • Are analytical and well-organized, with excellent attention to detail
  • Have a sense of urgency that drives you to take initiative constantly
  • Have a spirit for taking on new challenges
  • Have a creative mind and want to use it at work
  • Are willing to go above and beyond to be successful
  • Love working with other people and collaborating
  • Are a self starter and like to see projects through from start to finish

 

What this opportunity has to offer for you…

  • Work with Customer Success and Sales team to gain solid understand of our target audience and their key needs and develop engaging and appropriate tone and messaging
  • Collaborate with Product Team to stay abreast of product development and recommend the best way to communicate product updates internally and externally
  • Define the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, based on thorough market, competitive and audience analysis; then plan and execute successful product launches
  • Enable the Instacart and Unata Sales teams with positioning, messages and collateral
  • Develop education and self-serve materials for current clients to drive adoption of and satisfaction with Unata platform (Knowledge base, dashboard guides, webinars, etc)
  • Solicit ongoing retailer input and feedback to inform our product roadmap
  • Work with internal and external resources to develop designs, animations, videos and other content where needed
  • Determine tools and processes to create efficiencies in the Product Marketing Team
  • Establish success metrics for content usage / retailer knowledge and adoption, and perform ongoing measurement and optimization
